Exhibition 2008: Parallel Lines
Parallel Lines is a product of two artists living within two very separate geographical boundaries, capturing moments in time through evocative photographic imagery. Exploring communities, cultures and the surroundings in which these things belong, the artists’ highlight the differences, and by the same token, the similarities, between two very different locations.
The works featured in Parallel Lines are sensitive in nature and appearance, resembling modern day paintings; the artists’ use of Polaroid SX-70 film lends to this surreal and dream like quality which their photographs possess.
This is their tale of two cities; of a place called Adelaide and another called London.
Artwork available for viewing and purchase online. Below is the exhibition's featured artwork by Rossanne Pellegrino. Works by Tai Spruyt available March 24th 2008.
