"in.transit. is a photographic exhibition put together by emerging local artist, Rossanne Pellegrino. Featuring black and white photography, the exhibition showcases the artist's ideas that people are constantly in a state of transience, ever-evolving and adapting. Abandoned spaces, used hotel rooms, the hurried interchange at train stations and the faceless characters we may pass each day, are featured in Rossanne's evocative series of images. The photographs are based on the artist's own memories of journey from her childhood to the present, and meld the concepts of relocation and non-permanency, and of stability versus uncertainty and fragility."
