Read on to find out more about the website of Rossanne Pellegrino, photographer.

Rossanne Pellegrino is a photographer who melds her photographic vision with mixed media practices. Incorporating photo transfer techniques, hand painted imagery and Polaroid manipulation, the artist produces painterly imagery, blurring the border between painting and photography.

Exploring everyday life, modern culture and the notion of nostalgia and memory, the artist's recent work can be described as photographic paintings that document moments in time. These works are a means for the artist to record memories as she sees them on to paper; they are moments in time that were and that could have been, filled with characters and objects that are familiar to both the artist and the observer in some way. The artist's most recently exhibited work can be seen in the All New Imagery section in the Moving Gallery.Click here to view the artist's new body of work.

Her current show is taking place at Gallery 139, 139 Magill Road, Stepney, South Australia in March 2009.
